Dorival Vianna's late challenge caught a Soccorro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorival Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Macedo Futebol e Regatas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dorival Vianna hit a great ball. When Aloísio Seco came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Soccorro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Seco couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Fontes in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Koehler saved Macedo Futebol e Regatas from getting behind. Benedito Netto made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Cido Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. In the 18thth minute of the game Vítor Fontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macedo Futebol e Regatas's Adriano Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aloísio Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Adriano Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Seco in the 23rd minute of play. Gilson Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Aloísio Seco struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Adriano Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soccorro. Soccorro played a much better game than Macedo Futebol e Regatas and deserved their victory. The Macedo Futebol e Regatas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
