Luís Paulo Ortiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aloísio Seco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tracuateua's zone, Vítor Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Ortiz came out of the goal and Vítor Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Paulo Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Seco's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Aloísio Seco hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bruninho Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Iuri Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Netto having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Tracuateua's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aloísio Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Seco in the 36th minute of play forced Tracuateua's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paulo Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 51 played minutes Soccorro got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Moreira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Seco in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Paulo Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Soccorro getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aloísio Seco hit a great ball. Aloísio Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Ortiz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Marcelo Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soccorro's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Paulo Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Paulo Ortiz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Soccorro's Aloísio Seco. But to his dismay, Aloísio Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Vítor Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Paulo Ortiz was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Fontes in the 85th minute of play forced Tracuateua's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Soccorro's Aloísio Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paulo Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Paulo Ortiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Seco's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Soccorro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
