Otávio Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Tostão Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gil Damião tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcus Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vágner Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Leite in the 71st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Annel SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Congonhas SC:s goal. The referee gave Congonhas SC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nelsinho de Senna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Annel SS's Vágner Hoffmann. 2-3.
