Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandre Fernandes kicked off to start the match. Lucas Dias helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Gameleira got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Dias. Soccorro's Valério Viana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vicente de Medeiros but with some difficulty. A collision led to Gameleira getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Reinaldo Corrêa hit a great ball. Vicente de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alexandre Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gameleira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Soccorro's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Paes came free, but Benedito Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Netto having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Bruninho Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulinho Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Aloísio Seco made the kick off in the second half. If Alexandre Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Paulinho Paes came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gameleira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Paes couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulinho Paes got free with Benedito Netto in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandre Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Benedito Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soccorro's Benedito Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Soccorro from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Soccorro's goalkeeper Benedito Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Fernandes.
