Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oséias Romero kicked off to start the match. Oséias Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardinho de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eliézer Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ibituporanga's zone, Régis Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Falcão came out of the goal and Régis Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flávio Cardoso took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro de Alcântara. Ramiro de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ricardinho de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 minutes of play, Team Nexus's Régis Siqueira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliézer Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Romero in the 26th minute of play forced Team Nexus's goalkeeper Ramiro de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ibituporanga defense, Régis Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliézer Falcão. The Ibituporanga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliézer Falcão should have stopped the shot. Flávio Cardoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro de Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ricardinho de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Nexus's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliézer Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
Flávio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibituporanga's Oséias Romero. But to his dismay, Oséias Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Flávio Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ibituporanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Régis Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliézer Falcão having to make a save. Ricardinho de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Falcão having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Ibituporanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ricardinho de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Nexus's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliézer Falcão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Team Nexus booed when Ibituporanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ibituporanga getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alfredinho Palmeira hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Team Nexus got a corner. Ibituporanga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Paulo Machado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luiz Paulo Machado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ibituporanga's Eliézer Falcão did a great save. Carlos Alberto Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eliézer Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Team Nexus's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Romero came free, but Ramiro de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséias Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Oséias Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibituporanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 played minutes Team Nexus got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Machado. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
