Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vágner Goiano started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Caraubas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Veloso came free, but Richard Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Richard Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Matos in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Fiori Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Richard Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dinei Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Mesquita during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dinei Mesquita hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Ares Empire's Fiori Cordeiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richard Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Vágner Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ares Empire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vágner Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Goiano in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Albertinho Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Fiori Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Richard Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Dário Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Caraubas SS got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Simão. Richard Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Botelho was the one to do the kick off. Richard Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vágner Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Ares Empire booed when Caraubas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luiz Guilherme Santana, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Richard Reis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ares Empire's Vágner Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Richard Reis. That made the score 0-4 after 57 minutes of play. Caraubas SS's Richard Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Bastos in the 61st minute of play. Richard Reis was a little too slow when Albertinho Bastos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-5. Richard Reis came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ares Empire's Dário Matos. But to his dismay, Dário Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Richard Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Goiano in the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Fiori Cordeiro took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Richard Reis to make any attempt to save it. Nicolas Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Rubens Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Ares Empire got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Veloso. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Motta during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caraubas SS booed when Ares Empire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Ares Empire's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Simão came free, but Rubens Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Caraubas SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ares Empire were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
