The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Renatinho Saraiva sped through Team Nexus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramiro de Alcântara. After having played for 11 minutes, Dalmo Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pintadinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pintadinha FC's Silvério Moura got control of the ball when Régis Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardinho de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renatinho Saraiva in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro de Alcântara saved Team Nexus from getting behind. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Team Nexus! 33 minutes into the match, João Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro de Alcântara. Team Nexus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pirani in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Dráuzio Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. João Pirani struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ramiro de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintadinha FC. Team Nexus's Ramiro de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pirani in the 48th minute of play forced Team Nexus's goalkeeper Ramiro de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 50th minute Pintadinha FC were awarded a corner. Felipe Tande went to the cornerflag to take it. The Team Nexus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pintadinha FC were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when João Pirani made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Ramiro de Alcântara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silvério Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho de Lara in the 62nd minute of play. João Piranis short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Ramiro de Alcântara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pirani in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro de Alcântara saved Team Nexus from getting behind. William Pombal in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro de Alcântara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Team Nexus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when João Pirani scored to the left of an out of position Ramiro de Alcântara, making the score, 0-5. Ramiro de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Dalmo Sousa sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Team Nexus's goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Ramiro de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Régis Siqueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pintadinha FC's Silvério Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. João Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ramiro de Alcântara made a huge save. Cristóvão Brodel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Felipe Tande got in the 90th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ramiro de Alcântara. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-7. Ramiro de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when João Pirani sent off a good shot on target.
