Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sílvio Mendonça got the match started through his kick off. Benê Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silas de Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. If Dino Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Clube Atlético Serrano got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Magalhães. A collision led to Clube Atlético Serrano getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Amadeu Magalhães hit a great ball. Tipucu's Cristiano Veiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clube Atlético Serrano. 18 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Serrano's goalkeeper Silas de Queirós had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Massa. Silas de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Massa in the 19th minute. Christiano Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Dino Massa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 23rd minute. Tipucu's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 34th minute Osvaldinho Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Massa in the 36th minute. Jorge de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Dino Massa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Silas de Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, Tipucu's Dino Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Benê Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipucu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benê Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benê Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. Silas de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benê Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Amadeu Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Rezende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeu Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dino Massa came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Tipucu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Massa couldn't finish the play. When Jorge de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Serrano's protests and gave Jorge de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Serrano's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Vasconcelos came free, but Silas de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Sílvio Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sílvio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benê Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute of the match, Sílvio Mendonça tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dalmo Rezende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dino Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Silas de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benê Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas de Queirós having to make a save. Silas de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Massa in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Tipucu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
