After a defensive mix-up in Atibaia E.C.'s zone, Ademar Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Paraense came out of the goal and Ademar Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Paraense having to interfere. Atibaia E.C.'s Pedro Luís Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Moreno in the 26th minute of play. Teodoro Custódio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Ademar Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Manfredo Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKIDAWANUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atibaia E.C. the free kick. Teodoro Custódio managed to, on his own, get straight through AKIDAWANUS's defense and in the 32nd minute placed the ball to the left of Víktor Jacinto. 1-1. César Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atibaia E.C.'s Pedro Luís Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Moreno in the 38th minute of play. Pedro Luís Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Soeiro in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Paiva got free with Víktor Jacinto in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Vítor Azevedo's late challenge caught a Atibaia E.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vítor Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. If José Pedro Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauã de Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Víktor Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã de Toledo in the 51st minute of play. AKIDAWANUS's Víktor Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã de Toledo in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Kauã de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atibaia E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AKIDAWANUS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. João Vítor Azevedo hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes AKIDAWANUS got a freekick which was hit by Noel Cardozo. Víktor Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Pedro Paiva's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Kauã de Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Atibaia E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã de Toledo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã de Toledo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víktor Jacinto saved AKIDAWANUS from getting behind. José Pedro Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Guilherme Vaz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Atibaia E.C.'s Arlindo Neto tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
