Marcus Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Silas de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Serrano's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Vander came free, but Silas de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Pombal hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Marcus Vander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saldanha fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Marcus Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Vander made a kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorginho Vaz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Saldanha fc booed when Clube Atlético Serrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Clube Atlético Serrano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saldanha fc's performance. The match ended with a win for Saldanha fc.
