Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dino Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Llope having to interfere. Dalmo Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Velasco in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Raúl Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Rezende. Tipucu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raúl Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Guairas's Erik Camargo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th match minute, Tipucu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. After 17 minutes of play, Guairas's Erik Camargo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute of the match, Benê Vasconcelos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Florentino Llope saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 24 minutes, Erik Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guairas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tipucu's Ernesto Vale got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dalmo Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Raúl Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tipucu's Benê Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Dino Massa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florentino Llope was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 41 minutes into the match, Tipucu's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Velasco came free, but Dalmo Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benê Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Vasconcelos in the 53rd minute of play forced Guairas's goalkeeper Florentino Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Florentino Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Vasconcelos in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Velasco got free with Dalmo Rezende in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 minutes, Dino Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tipucu and the Guairas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tipucu getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dino Massa hit a great ball. Tipucu's Dalmo Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Tipucu from getting a goal against them. Dalmo Rezende made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Raúl Velasco sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute, Caio Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tipucu's Dino Massa got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Dino Massa off the ground. A collision led to Tipucu getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Dino Massa hit a great ball. When Caio Severo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tipucu's protests and gave Caio Severo a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Camargo's late challenge caught a Tipucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Camargo helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Arí Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guairas's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guairas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
