With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Bitxintxo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víktor Jacinto saved AKIDAWANUS from getting behind. Víktor Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Bitxintxo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Fermin Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birigué fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Havier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víktor Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Havier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Raul Bitxintxo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. AKIDAWANUS's Víktor Jacinto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademar Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Amaral having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Carlos Fernando Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When César Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the AKIDAWANUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Moreno couldn't finish the play. After 27 played minutes César Moreno rounded Birigué fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 30th minute, Gilson Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víktor Jacinto came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Birigué fc's Raul Bitxintxo. But to his dismay, Raul Bitxintxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Birigué fc's Fermin Havier got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Bitxintxo in the 40th minute of play forced AKIDAWANUS's goalkeeper Víktor Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If César Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Birigué fc were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Bitxintxo made a kick off. César Moreno's late challenge caught a Birigué fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, César Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute César Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fermin Havier sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Birigué fc's Raul Bitxintxo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The supporters of AKIDAWANUS booed when Birigué fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. AKIDAWANUS's Víktor Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save AKIDAWANUS from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Raul Bitxintxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raul Bitxintxo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Birigué fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Bitxintxo couldn't finish the play. Fermin Havier came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Víktor Jacinto could save by the left post. Víktor Jacinto was a little too slow when Leonardo Guedes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 91st minute João Vítor Azevedo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 91 minutes, Célio Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birigué fc and the AKIDAWANUS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AKIDAWANUS booed when Birigué fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball.
