Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Sílvio Mendonça made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Serrano's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Vides came free, but Silas de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Mendonça in the 7th minute of play forced Comando Máfia Azul's goalkeeper Tales Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sílvio Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Clube Atlético Serrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tales Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge de Godoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tales Santos. Comando Máfia Azul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute Sílvio Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Vides in the 19th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Serrano's goalkeeper Silas de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Silas de Queirós made a huge save. In the 25th minute of the match, Rogério Freitas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silas de Queirós was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tales Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Roberto Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas de Queirós having to interfere. Rogério Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Comando Máfia Azul's zone, Sílvio Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Santos came out of the goal and Sílvio Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Silas de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogério Freitas went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Silas de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Freitas in the 60th minute of play. Rogério Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Silas de Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Serrano's zone, Rogério Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas de Queirós came out of the goal and Rogério Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rogério Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Vides in the 79th minute of the match. Sílvio Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tales Santos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Osvaldinho Perez sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Comando Máfia Azul getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rogério Galvão hit a great ball. Osvaldinho Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tales Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldinho Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldinho Perez got free with Tales Santos in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Mendonça was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Clube Atlético Serrano's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 96 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Serrano's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Freitas came free, but Silas de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clube Atlético Serrano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Comando Máfia Azul.
