The coaching staff of Tipucu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luís Fernando Quintal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Tipucu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saldanha fc:s goal. 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 10 played minutes, when Saldanha fc:s Nicolas Seco calmly waited for Tipucu:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. After a rather tough play, Tipucu's Ernesto Vale got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ernesto Vale hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Saldanha fc's Jorginho Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Dino Massa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorginho Vaz to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Massa couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Saldanha fc's Dalmo Sousa got control of the ball when Ernesto Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dalmo Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorginho Vaz went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the match, Saldanha fc's goalkeeper Dalmo Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Massa. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tipucu players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
