If Ricardo Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Caratacá E.C's Ricardo Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Murillo de Barros in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ricardo Mello came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Caratacá E.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Mello couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Caratacá E.C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tomás Baptista hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Murillo de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caratacá E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tales Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tales Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo de Barros in the 43rd minute of the match. If Murillo de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comando Máfia Azul's Tales Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Barros in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute Zé Roberto Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tales Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Caratacá E.C a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abel Aparecido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Comando Máfia Azul's Tales Santos. 2-0. Murillo de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Santos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Comando Máfia Azul's Osvaldinho Cruz got a free kick in the 70th minute. Tales Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo de Barros in the 71st minute of the match. Rogério Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Branco having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Zé Roberto Vides fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marcelo Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Caratacá E.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Comando Máfia Azul for a fine match.
