Juncal's Gino Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Vasconcelos in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Juncal's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Vasconcelos came free, but Gino Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Sydney Torres made a precise shot to the right of Dalmo Rezende. Tipucu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Dino Massa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gino Koehler. Juncal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Massa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 40thth minute of the game Benê Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juncal's Gino Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gino Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tipucu booed when Juncal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sydney Torres got free with Dalmo Rezende in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The Juncal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 86 minutes into the match, Benê Vasconcelos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gino Koehler, 3-4. Adrianinho Simões hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Sydney Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dalmo Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Juncal's zone, Ernesto Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Koehler came out of the goal and Ernesto Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tipucu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
