After having played for 9 minutes, André Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birigué fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Romário Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birigué fc. Fermin Havier scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romário Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Fazenda Petrolina F.C defense, Raul Bitxintxo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romário Amorim. The Fazenda Petrolina F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romário Amorim should have stopped the shot. Raul Bitxintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romário Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Havier in the 29th minute of the match. Fermin Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Havier in the 32nd minute of play forced Fazenda Petrolina F.C's goalkeeper Romário Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Raul Bitxintxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romário Amorim was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Romário Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Havier went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alfredinho Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Arce in the 41st minute of play. Romário Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Havier in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Bitxintxo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romário Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Fazenda Petrolina F.C's zone, Fermin Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Amorim came out of the goal and Fermin Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Birigué fc were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Raul Bitxintxo made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Fazenda Petrolina F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Bitxintxo came free, but Romário Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Salgado in the 58th minute of play forced Fazenda Petrolina F.C's goalkeeper Romário Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romário Amorim having to interfere. Romário Amorim came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Birigué fc's Fermin Havier. But to his dismay, Fermin Havier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Fazenda Petrolina F.C's zone, Raul Bitxintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Amorim came out of the goal and Raul Bitxintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Frédson Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fazenda Petrolina F.C's protests and gave Frédson Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fazenda Petrolina F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Frédson Custódio hit a great ball. Raul Bitxintxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romário Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Bitxintxo ran back to his position shaking his head. Raul Bitxintxo in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romário Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romário Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Bitxintxo's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Romário Amorim made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Fermin Havier sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Birigué fc's Raul Bitxintxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romário Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romário Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Salgado in the 93rd minute of the match. Birigué fc's Alfredinho Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Arce in the 94th minute of play. Birigué fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
