The referee ignored Comando Máfia Azul's protests and gave Rogério Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Comando Máfia Azul got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Freitas. After 7 played minutes Comando Máfia Azul got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Oliveira. Rogério Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AKIDAWANUS's Víktor Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Freitas in the 14th minute of play. Ademar Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Santos having to interfere. If Ademar Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Comando Máfia Azul's goalkeeper Tales Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Soeiro. Gilson Catarinense hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, AKIDAWANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Freitas came free, but Víktor Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Comando Máfia Azul getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Yuri Moreira hit a great ball. Sidney Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ademar Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tales Santos made a huge save. If César Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tales Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Roberto Vides to make the kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by AKIDAWANUS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yuri Moreira was slow to take the kick. During this time Comando Máfia Azul's players had a chance to rest. In the 61st match minute, AKIDAWANUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Comando Máfia Azul's Rogério Freitas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Comando Máfia Azul's Rogério Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Víktor Jacinto. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Rogério Galvão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Víktor Jacinto having to make a save. Tales Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Moreno in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Sílvio Luís Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tales Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Moreno in the 96th minute of the match. The Comando Máfia Azul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
