Chiquinho de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Tróia in the 7th minute of play. When Baltazar Eger came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the divino f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Eger couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Camargo in the 11th minute of play forced Atlético Maneiro FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gustavo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of divino f.c booed when Atlético Maneiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltazar Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho de Castro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Nogueira got free with Geovani Silva in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind divino f.c's goalkeeper Geovani Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Pedro Dante might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Pedro Dante ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Atlético Maneiro FC's Geovani Silva threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Pedro Dante, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute Baltazar Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adriano Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Baltazar Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The divino f.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, divino f.c's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Dante came free, but Geovani Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Dante was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, divino f.c's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Dante came free, but Geovani Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to divino f.c getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Perivaldo Pinheiro hit a great ball. Gustavo Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Silva having to interfere. Atlético Maneiro FC's Gustavo Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 played minutes divino f.c got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho das Neves. 80 minutes into the match, divino f.c's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Dante came free, but Geovani Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Caio Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltazar Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho de Castro having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Gustavo Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Maneiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90thth minute of the game Gustavo Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but divino f.c's Geovani Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geovani Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Dante in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Atlético Maneiro FC's José Pedro Dante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovani Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Atlético Maneiro FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing divino f.c to leave the ground with a draw.
