Atlético Maneiro FC's Chiquinho de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Maneiro FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Luan de Andrade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chiquinho de Castro. The goal made the score 1-0. Raúl Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ZAVIADO getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Raúl Cunha hit a great ball. ZAVIADO's Ronaldão França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Dante in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Raúl Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Nogueira scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldão França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldão França came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Maneiro FC's Gustavo Nogueira. But to his dismay, Gustavo Nogueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ronaldão França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ZAVIADO's Miguel Batista got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Maneiro FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If José Pedro Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ZAVIADO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Maneiro FC were winning 1-2.

Ronaldão França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Dante in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gustavo Nogueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Ronaldão França however easily saved by the left post. Chiquinho de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Caio Sá's late challenge caught a ZAVIADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
