The supporters of Jaibaras booed when Florindo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Dante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manoel Maciel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Azevedo in the 15th minute of play forced Florindo's goalkeeper Manoel Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Dante scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Egídio Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Dante in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manoel Maciel saved Florindo from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Dráuzio Dante made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Florindo's Manoel Maciel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jeferson Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Florindo's protests and gave Jeferson Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Florindo's Jeferson Cavalcante got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráuzio Dante in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manoel Maciel saved Florindo from getting behind. If Luiz Eduardo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th match minute, Florindo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Dráuzio Dante took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel Maciel. Manoel Maciel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 39thth minute of the game Dráuzio Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florindo's Manoel Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gualter Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaibaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualter Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Jaibaras were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Manoel Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Jaibaras's Roger Lopes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Luiz Eduardo Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Florindo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. If Dráuzio Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Dante recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manoel Maciel. Dráuzio Dante showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Gualter Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Jaibaras's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Donato came free, but Francisco Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jaibaras booed when Florindo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Dante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manoel Maciel was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jeferson Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaibaras's Nildo Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Florindo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alfredão Varela hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Dante in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manoel Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manoel Maciel stood somewhat misplaced when Dráuzio Dante came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 88 minute. In the 93rd minute, Sidnei Rezende fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar.
