Walmir Azevedo's late challenge caught a Jaibaras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmir Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Bailique:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jaibaras:s goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bailique walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
