A collision led to divino f.c getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Perivaldo Pinheiro hit a great ball. If Betinho Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half divino f.c were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Camargo couldn't finish the play. Betinho Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
