Francisco Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Elivélton Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Jaibaras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Alcântara made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Guilax Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Azevedo came free, but Jeremias Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Ramalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Dráuzio Dante slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 82nd minute. Guilax Football Club's Jeremias Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Guilax Football Club from getting a goal against them. Jeremias Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidnei Rezende in the 96th minute. Jaibaras played a much better game than Guilax Football Club and deserved their victory. The Guilax Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
