Edgar Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Osvaldo Meira was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Tiago Gabriel Paes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiago Gabriel Paes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Enio de Almeida came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Aliança EC's Aílton Nascimento. But to his dismay, Aílton Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Filipe Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Aliança EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Pirani couldn't finish the play. Aliança EC's Osvaldo Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Aliança EC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, BarSemLona Futebol Clube's Felipe do Nascimento got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Aliança EC's Aílton Nascimento in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BarSemLona Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Gilson Brodel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enio de Almeida. BarSemLona Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aílton Nascimento in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enio de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renan Damião scored 1-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enio de Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aílton Nascimento to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Aliança EC got a corner. BarSemLona Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manoel Galvão ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hélio Meireles tried in the game's 53rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Enio de Almeida. An annoying self made goal, 1-5. Rubens Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Aliança EC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rubens Lira hit a great ball. Osvaldo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Custódio in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 minutes Aliança EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sandro Souto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sandro Souto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aliança EC's Osvaldo Meira did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Renan Damião kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enio de Almeida. That made the score 1-6 in the 70 minute of play. Aliança EC's Aílton Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aliança EC's Osvaldo Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Paes in the 76th minute of play. Enio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Luisinho Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisinho Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes BarSemLona Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Sanches. Filipe Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Aílton Nascimento got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Filipe Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enio de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Aliança EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BarSemLona Futebol Clube throughout the match.
