Spectators: 7141 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Demetrio Cucci took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Cruz de Malta F.C's Demetrio Cucci got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Jeremias Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltazar Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wellington de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Cucci took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wellington de Sousa. Wellington de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rafa Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Esperança's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Cucci came free, but Wellington de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Walmyr França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 played minutes Cruz de Malta F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Trevisan. In the 37th match minute, Cruz de Malta F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Cucci to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Luciano Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafa Trancoso skillfully saved the ball. Rafa Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mazza in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Cruz de Malta F.C defense, Walmyr França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafa Trancoso. The Cruz de Malta F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafa Trancoso should have stopped the shot. In the 48th minute, Márcio Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Koehler in the 49th minute of play forced Cruz de Malta F.C's goalkeeper Rafa Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Rafa Trancoso was a little too slow when Walmyr França got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. Walmyr França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafa Trancoso having to make a save. After having played for 64 minutes, Jeremias Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperança's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Mazza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Jeremias Mazza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Jeremias Mazza made a precise shot to the right of Rafa Trancoso. Cruz de Malta F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Rafa Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr França, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Walmyr França who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruz de Malta F.C's Rafa Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Baltazar Recife missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 85 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Wellington de Sousa right hand side. In the 86th match minute, Esperança was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Walmyr França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafa Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr França, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
