Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Andrade to make the kick off. In the 62ndth minute of the game Evandro Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FerVentClub's Alessandro Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gil França was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Jailson Tinoco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jailson Tinoco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Simões in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Duarte saved FerVentClub from getting behind. The supporters of FerVentClub booed when Aranha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Evandro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aranha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Simões in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes FerVentClub's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eriberto Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. Adriano Rezende tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alessandro Duarte. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-2 in the 87th minute. Gil Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Duarte having to interfere. When Aranha FC's Evandro Simões in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FerVentClub's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Aranha FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
