In the 12th minute, Doni Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evandro Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro Simões struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Geovanni Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aranha FC. Gil França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Evandro Simões fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geovanni Pimenta, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in ForFun's zone, Doni Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Pimenta came out of the goal and Doni Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Geovanni Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Fonseca in the 54th minute of the match. Evandro Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on Aranha FC's corner Eriberto Fonseca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovanni Pimenta quite easily take care of the ball. But to his dismay, Evandro Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
