Vitório Eger did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wellington de Sousa 11 minutes into the match. Wayne Benton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo do Vale in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Esperança's Wellington de Sousa got control of the ball when Vitório Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Esperança was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Vitório Eger came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wellington de Sousa could save by the left post. In the 37th minute, Vitório Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Emesto in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington de Sousa saved Esperança from getting behind. Wellington de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Vitório Eger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulyanov DR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eulalio Emesto made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Esperança's Walmyr França dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 59thth minute of the game Eulalio Emesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esperança's Wellington de Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes, Rodriguinho Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulyanov DR and the Esperança players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodriguinho Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Eulalio Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington de Sousa having to interfere. Wellington de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ulyanov DR were furious when David Saldanha was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Esperança booed when Ulyanov DR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Eulalio Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ulyanov DR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Emesto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Eulalio Emesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wellington de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ulyanov DR's 范战岚 was substituted for Luciano Cruz. Betão Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
