Wesley Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rafa Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emerson Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Emerson Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafa Trancoso. Cruz de Malta F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emerson Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 16th minute of the match Luisão Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafa Trancoso skillfully saved the ball. Baltazar Recife hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Cruz de Malta F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Aparecido came free, but Rafa Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafa Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Felipe Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Trancoso having to interfere. Emerson Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafa Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. ForFun's Felipe Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Demetrio Cucci made the kick off in the second half. If Emerson Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Baltazar Recife came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cruz de Malta F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Recife couldn't finish the play. Felipe Batista in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafa Trancoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 59th minute, ForFun's Emerson Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafa Trancoso. Rafa Trancoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Wesley Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafa Trancoso having to make a save. Baltazar Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Pimenta having to interfere. Emerson Aparecido was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cruz de Malta F.C's Rafa Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Aparecido in the 70th minute of play. If Felipe Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Rafa Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cruz de Malta F.C's Demetrio Cucci got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cruz de Malta F.C getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jacinto Trevisan hit a great ball. Baltazar Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cruz de Malta F.C's zone, Jeremias Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Trancoso came out of the goal and Jeremias Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ForFun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
