Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) NAMO F.C's Pedro Paulo Abraão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, NAMO F.C's Cipriano Vander got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 10 played minutes NAMO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Pinheiro. Wellington de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cipriano Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. NAMO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmyr França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Castro having to interfere. After 27 played minutes, Esperança's Luciano Koehler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléberson Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esperança reached it. After 29 minutes of play, Esperança's Jeremias Mazza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Castro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Pedro Paulo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabinho Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wellington de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Pedro Paulo Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabinho Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington de Sousa came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by NAMO F.C's Pedro Paulo Abraão. But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmyr França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Paulo Abraão struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Wellington de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NAMO F.C. After a defensive mix-up in Esperança's zone, Pedro Paulo Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington de Sousa came out of the goal and Pedro Paulo Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fabinho Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NAMO F.C's protests and gave Fabinho Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Fabinho Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pedro Paulo Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the NAMO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo Abraão couldn't finish the play. Kléberson Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr França in the 69th minute of the match. Pedro Paulo Abraão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wellington de Sousa having to make a save. Luís Gustavo do Vale hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Esperança's Wellington de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Esperança from getting a goal against them. If Pedro Paulo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Paulo Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Wellington de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Esperança got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo do Vale. After 82 minutes Esperança's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabinho Pinheiro who took care of the corner kick. In the 83rd minute, Giuseppe Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabinho Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wellington de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Pedro Paulo Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NAMO F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 played minutes Esperança got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo do Vale. If Pedro Paulo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperança's goalkeeper Wellington de Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Paulo Abraão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wellington de Sousa. That made the score 1-2 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded NAMO F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Esperança.
