After taking down the ball on FC Vila Naticos's corner Gualter de Amorim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafa Trancoso quite easily take care of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Baltazar Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruz de Malta F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Vila Naticos the free kick. Baltazar Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Benjamin Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Trancoso having to interfere. Enrique Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes Cruz de Malta F.C got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Cucci. Enrique Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Baltazar Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgar Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Enrique Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Vila Naticos's goalkeeper Edgar Vander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC Vila Naticos booed when Cruz de Malta F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Cucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafa Trancoso having to interfere. After the first half Cruz de Malta F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Cucci to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cruz de Malta F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Carneiro came free, but Rafa Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Vander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltazar Recife showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Baltazar Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Edgar Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Demetrio Cucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Vila Naticos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
