Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Kauã Araújo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Aranha FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luís Guilherme de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Caio Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sambaqui's zone, Evandro Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Sá came out of the goal and Evandro Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gil Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir Sá having to interfere. Evandro Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Waldir Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gil Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Aranha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Moreira couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sambaqui's goalkeeper Waldir Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Evandro Simões in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 37 minutes into the match, Doni Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Sá. Sambaqui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doni Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Aranha FC's Evandro Simões in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sambaqui's goalie prevented a goal. Waldir Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evandro Simões's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro Simões made a kick off. If Evandro Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Aranha FC's Evandro Simões slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldir Sá. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. When Aranha FC's Evandro Simões in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sambaqui's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Evandro Simões put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Waldir Sá. The audience was convinced that Evandro Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Sá was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Doni Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Waldir Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Evandro Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aranha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evandro Simões recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Willian Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aranha FC played a much better game than Sambaqui and deserved their victory. The Sambaqui players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
