Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amílton Félix started the match with the kick off. Cirino Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Toledo in the 8th minute of play. Guto Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Camargo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Tarcisio Marinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Benê Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dadá Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ian Camargos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Tarcisio Marinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ian Camargo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Marinho. Tarcisio Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Canada getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. João Adolfo de Lara hit a great ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Nuno Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kírion Dominos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 minutes, Ian Camargo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Canada's Tarcisio Marinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 minutes, Amílton Félix made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kírion Dominos's Cirino Vidal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Severino Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Marinho having to interfere. Ian Camargo came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tarcisio Marinho could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Zanette in the 53rd minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Tarcisio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guto Zanette struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tarcisio Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kírion Dominos. João Adolfo de Lara's late challenge caught a Kírion Dominos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Adolfo de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Canada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kírion Dominos:s goal. Ian Camargo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tarcisio Marinho. Tarcisio Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 66 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Murillo da Silveira. If Alexsandro Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Amílton Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirino Vidal having to interfere. Tarcisio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Ramalho in the 77th minute of the match. Alexsandro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirino Vidal having to interfere. Benê Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Kírion Dominos got a freekick which was hit by Benê Bittencourt. In the 96th minute Amílton Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirino Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
