Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Quarahim's Henrique Sá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Afonso City's Geraldo Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Paulo Afonso City from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Mazinho Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paulo Afonso City's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonsinho Sousa hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The long shot by Jardel Costa in the 13th minute really tested Geraldo Pitta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Henrique Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Pitta having to interfere. Henrique Sá's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geraldo Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes in the game, Sandro Donato dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Geraldo Pitta came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Quarahim's Sandro Donato. But to his dismay, Sandro Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Henrique Sá struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Geraldo Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quarahim. Geraldo Pitta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Sá's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Sandro Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Pitta having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Paulo Afonso City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wágner Eger to maneuver through the defense.

After a defensive mix-up in Paulo Afonso City's zone, Sandro Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Pitta came out of the goal and Sandro Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 minutes, Henrique Sá made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paulo Afonso City's Geraldo Pitta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Quarahim getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Percy Perez hit a great ball. When Henrique Sá came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Quarahim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Sá couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Henrique Sá sped through Paulo Afonso City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geraldo Pitta. After 77 minutes, Percy Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quarahim and the Paulo Afonso City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Percy Perez hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Quarahim's Luiz Eduardo Salles got a free kick in the 84th minute. Sandro Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Geraldo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Henrique Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sandro Donato notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Paulo Afonso City's Geraldo Pitta. Geraldo Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mazinho Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adhemar Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quarahim's Sandro Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
