After a rather tough play, Carnaubal SS's Luiz Gustavo Furlan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Abel Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Netto in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme de Godoi in the 26th minute of play forced Carnaubal SS's goalkeeper Abel Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Guilherme de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesley Capixaba's late challenge caught a Carnaubal SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Reborn FC got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Capixaba. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guilherme de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. José Maria Custódio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alberto Sá. Reborn FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 58th minute, Tony Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Carnaubal SS's zone, Alexsandro Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Fantini came out of the goal and Alexsandro Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guilherme de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Pedro Luiz Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnaubal SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luiz Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jânio Hermes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reborn FC's Alberto Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alexsandro Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Fantini having to interfere. When Jânio Hermes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Carnaubal SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Hermes couldn't finish the play. During the 93rd minute of the match Wesley Capixaba completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wesley Capixaba a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, Reborn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. Jânio Hermes scored 1-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Reborn FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carnaubal SS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
