Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio de Alcântara in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirino Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Benê Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kírion Dominos's Cirino Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Moreira in the 29th minute of play. Jaime Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Camargo in the 30th minute. If Ian Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Ekos Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Arce to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ekos Fc booed when Kírion Dominos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 61 minutes, Joaquim da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kírion Dominos and the Ekos Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kírion Dominos's Kiko Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Ekos Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Arce to maneuver through the defense. Ian Camargo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Camargo ran back to his position shaking his head. Kírion Dominos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Alex Moreira scored to the left of an out of position Cirino Vidal, making the score, 2-2. Jaime Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Soares in the 97th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Kírion Dominos failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
