Hernani Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hernani Vides stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrianinho Neto's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Adrianinho Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, 1992 SC's Gernando Nascimento got a free kick in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, 1992 SC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Hoffmann came free, but Hernani Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Ronaldo Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Arif Gaffar Başkara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Nazario in the 40th minute of play forced 1992 SC's goalkeeper Hernani Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernani Vides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Gaffar Başkara went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute Laerte Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Arif Gaffar Başkara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonninal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulysses Duarte was the one to do the kick off. Arif Gaffar Başkara in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hernani Vides, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Arif Gaffar Başkara took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Hernani Vides to make any attempt to save it. Bonninal's Cao Ling Yi was substituted for Arif Gaffar Başkara. After a rather tough play, Bonninal's Reginaldo Hoffmann got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ulysses Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Senna having to interfere. Reginaldo Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Hoffmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hernani Vides, 0-7. Bonninal's Narciso Loureiro was substituted for Eric Karlsson. After some careless play in the 1992 SC defense, Laerte Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernani Vides. The 1992 SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernani Vides should have stopped the shot. When Dalmo do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bonninal's protests and gave Dalmo do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bonninal fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! In the 91st minute there was a penalty for 1992 SC. Ulysses Duarte stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chicão de Senna. 1-10. 1992 SC's Hernani Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save 1992 SC from getting a goal against them. Donato Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Hernani Vides made a huge save. In the 99th minute, Bonninal's Dorival Chaves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-11.
