Ian Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Abel Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, Kírion Dominos's Ian Camargo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dadá Hermes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Abel Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Zanette in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carnaubal SS's zone, Guto Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Fantini came out of the goal and Guto Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Ian Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Rossi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Camargo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Carnaubal SS's Sandrinho Carvalho got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Ian Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Carnaubal SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Furlan to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Carnaubal SS's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Camargo came free, but Abel Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Bittencourt in the 41st minute of play. Severino Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Fantini having to interfere. After the first half Kírion Dominos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Luiz Lopez to make the kick off. Ian Camargo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Abel Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kírion Dominos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ramalho in the 56th minute of play forced Carnaubal SS's goalkeeper Abel Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kírion Dominos's Ian Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carnaubal SS's Abel Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Carnaubal SS from getting a goal against them. Luís Gustavo Viana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Fantini having to make a save. Ian Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Abel Fantini made a huge save. Carnaubal SS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Severino Ramalho 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Hermes during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jânio Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Lopez in the 76th minute of play forced Kírion Dominos's goalkeeper Cirino Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Camargo in the 85th minute. In the 85th minute, Luiz Gustavo Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ian Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kírion Dominos's Kiko Soares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Gustavo Furlan, made in the 90th minute of the game. When the match was over Kírion Dominos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carnaubal SS throughout the match.
