After 3 played minutes Adeus Metallica got a freekick which was hit by Edu Hermes. Costinha's Vitinho Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Costinha from getting a goal against them. Diogo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Marquez having to interfere. If Alfredão Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Meira in the 23rd minute of play. César Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Noel Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Rossi in the 40th minute of play. Edu Hermes got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Diogo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Noel Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Alfredão Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Adeus Metallica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredão Quirino was the one to do the kick off. Adeus Metallica's Noel Marquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Adeus Metallica from getting a goal against them. When Diogo Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Costinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Mesquita couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Costinha's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Quirino came free, but Vitinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Adeus Metallica's Noel Marquez got control of the ball when Diogo Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 86 played minutes Adeus Metallica got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Dracena. The supporters of Costinha booed when Adeus Metallica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Costinha's Enrique Barral tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Diogo Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Noel Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Mesquita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Noel Marquez made a huge save. Adeus Metallica's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
