Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Duarte Meira started the match with the kick off. Cléber Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Emerson de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Zonta got free with Noel Marquez in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Edgar Zonta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edgar Zonta struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Noel Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Pindense. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Emerson de Brito took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Noel Marquez to make any attempt to save it. Edgar Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Marquez having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Edgar Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Pindense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Adeus Metallica's zone, Edgar Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Marquez came out of the goal and Edgar Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emerson de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Noel Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Kléberson Terra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Pindense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Adeus Metallica getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Humberto Dracena hit a great ball. Noel Marquez made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Edgar Zonta sent off a good shot on target. Vila Pindense's Edgar Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Vila Pindense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Velloso to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes in the game, Alfredão Quirino dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Edgar Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Marquez having to interfere. Noel Marquez came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Pindense's Edgar Zonta. But to his dismay, Edgar Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Emerson de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adeus Metallica's Noel Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson de Brito in the 69th minute of play. If Emerson de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Adeus Metallica's Edu Hermes got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Vila Pindense's Emerson de Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Marquez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Velloso in the 81st minute of play forced Adeus Metallica's goalkeeper Noel Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Marquez having to interfere. Adeus Metallica's Noel Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson de Brito in the 86th minute of play. When Edgar Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vila Pindense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Zonta couldn't finish the play. If Duarte Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Vila Pindense's goalkeeper Cléber Linhares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredão Quirino. 94 minutes into the game, Vila Pindense's Edgar Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Marquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Vila Pindense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
