After 18 played minutes Farol EC got a freekick which was hit by Murillo de Alcântara. 20 minutes into the match, Nilson Fantini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Paranaense. Farol EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilson Fantini in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Farol EC booed when Caravellas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caravellas SS's Diego Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nilson Fantini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Paranaense was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmo Paranaense to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson Fantini in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Paranaense saved Farol EC from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Nilson Fantini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erasmo Paranaense. The goal made the score 0-2. After 90 minutes, Kauan Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caravellas SS and the Farol EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kauan Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Caravellas SS got a freekick which was hit by Enio de Lima. 93 minutes into the match, Dalmo Paranaense notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Caravellas SS's Oscar Camargo. Oscar Camargo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Despite being the better team, Caravellas SS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
