When Diogo Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costinha's protests and gave Diogo Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Fabrício Mello put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vitinho Veiga. In the 16th minute Fabrício Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Fabrício Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix Flumed's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Costinha getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rodolfo Rossi hit a great ball. The nice shot from Bendix Behnert in the 24thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Vitinho Veiga had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bendix Behnert's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Vitinho Veiga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 25 minutes into the game, Gilson Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenix Flumed the free kick. Vitinho Veiga didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Fenix Flumed's Bendix Behnert shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Mello in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Veiga saved Costinha from getting behind. In the 44th minute of the match, Fabrício Mello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitinho Veiga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Costinha getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rodolfo Rossi hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bendix Behnert to make the kick off. Vitinho Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bendix Behnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Bendix Behnert sped through Costinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vitinho Veiga. Vitinho Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bendix Behnert, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Fenix Flumed's Miguel Gerber got control of the ball when Diogo Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bendix Behnert scored 5-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitinho Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Fabrício Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitinho Veiga was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. During the 71st minute of the match Gilson Araújo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilson Araújo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gilson Araújo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Vitinho Veiga came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenix Flumed's Bendix Behnert. But to his dismay, Bendix Behnert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Vitinho Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bendix Behnert went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Bendix Behnert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitinho Veiga was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Fabrício Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vitinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrézinho Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrézinho Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costinha's zone, Fabrício Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitinho Veiga came out of the goal and Fabrício Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Costinha got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Rossi. When the referee ended the match the Fenix Flumed players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
