The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Viana was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marquinhos Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cochinho's zone, Baltazar Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Salgado came out of the goal and Baltazar Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reginaldo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquinhos Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batu Cem Pektaşi during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Batu Cem Pektaşi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Abelardo dos Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percival Lucas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
