Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Catarinense kicked off to start the match. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erik Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Erik Catarinense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marcelo Borges was a little too slow when Erik Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Marcelo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. João Carlos Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeca Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Tande in the 32nd minute of play. Donato Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, OTERRIVEL's goalkeeper Marcelo Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Falcão Moraes.

After having played for 52 minutes, Falcão Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eucalipto EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, one of OTERRIVEL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for OTERRIVEL. The referee gave Eucalipto EC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Michel Neto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OTERRIVEL's Marcelo Borges. 2-0. In the 60th match minute, OTERRIVEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Velloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Falcão Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eucalipto EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of OTERRIVEL booed when Eucalipto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. If João Carlos Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Erik Catarinense notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of OTERRIVEL's Marcelo Borges. Marcelo Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81stth minute of the game Falcão Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTERRIVEL's Marcelo Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Donato Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eucalipto EC's protests and gave Donato Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of OTERRIVEL booed when Eucalipto EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Erik Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game Falcão Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OTERRIVEL's Marcelo Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Falcão Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Borges was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Eucalipto EC were the better team. Eucalipto EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
