After a rather tough play, Eucalipto EC's Ciro Munhoz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Falcão Moraes took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reginaldo Salgado. Reginaldo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cochinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Eucalipto EC. Michel Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reginaldo Salgado. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Eucalipto EC's zone, Abelardo dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Schmidt came out of the goal and Abelardo dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ulysses Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeca Schmidt was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Eucalipto EC's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Leme came free, but Zeca Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Salgado having to interfere. With a little luck, Cochinho's Reginaldo Salgado got control of the ball when Falcão Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Catarinense in the 40th minute of play forced Cochinho's goalkeeper Reginaldo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Eucalipto EC's Erik Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Falcão Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Falcão Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reginaldo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Falcão Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Reginaldo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginaldo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Catarinense in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Cochinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Moura to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Michel Neto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reginaldo Salgado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cochinho's zone, Erik Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginaldo Salgado came out of the goal and Erik Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Moraes in the 72nd minute of play forced Cochinho's goalkeeper Reginaldo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reginaldo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Falcão Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reginaldo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Moraes in the 77th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Catarinense in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Falcão Moraes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Salgado saved Cochinho from getting behind. Reginaldo Salgado came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Eucalipto EC's Erik Catarinense. But to his dismay, Erik Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eucalipto EC had played much better football throughout.
