The supporters of Eucalipto EC booed when MathGus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Szczęsny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato Vaz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, MathGus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Catarinense came free, but Walter Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Falcão Moraes put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Walter Szczęsny. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MathGus FC! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Eucalipto EC. Michel Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walter Szczęsny. 0-3. Falcão Moraes scored 0-5 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Szczęsny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Moraes in the 42nd minute of play forced MathGus FC's goalkeeper Walter Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Lago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Paulo José de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eucalipto EC's Carlos Eduardo Freire got a free kick in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Diguinho Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MathGus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diguinho Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Catarinense in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Erik Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes, Albertinho de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eucalipto EC and the MathGus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Eucalipto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Catarinense in the 70th minute of play. Zeca Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo José de Alcântara in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Eucalipto EC's Donato Vaz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Rafinha Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Erik Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save MathGus FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute, Albertinho de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Vaz came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Walter Szczęsny could save by the left post. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save MathGus FC from getting a goal against them. Falcão Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Walter Szczęsny made a huge save. Walter Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Falcão Moraes sent off a good shot on target. The Eucalipto EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
