Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruninho Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Borges when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, Bruninho Azevedo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Marcelo Borges. Anderson Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Manchis Iunaite booed when OTERRIVEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Silas Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Antunes got free with Anderson Melo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Silas Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruninho Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruninho Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Hugo Tande dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anderson Melo, 3-2. A collision led to OTERRIVEL getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. João Carlos Alvarenga hit a great ball. Bruninho Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manchis Iunaite's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The throw-in from Giovani Vale in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Manchis Iunaite's Orlando Hoffmann. Hélio Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcelo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
