Yasin Juanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian de Souza in the 20th minute of the match. When Alessandro Galvão came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bristol Rovers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Galvão couldn't finish the play. Wilian de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yasin Juanda having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Marcinho Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. J.A. 100's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo Goiano made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho de Amorim during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of J.A. 100 booed when Bristol Rovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruninho de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Bristol Rovers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Severo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bristol Rovers FC's zone, Marcinho Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Bristol Rovers FC's Luiz Gustavo Goiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Téo Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, J.A. 100's Delfim Paraibano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bristol Rovers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
