Fernandinho Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Paulão Gonçalves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Breno Mattos's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Piracicaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breno Mattos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clube Atlético Piracicaba booed when Profana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position.
